How To Measure and Installation

Three simple steps for sizing your grill
  1. The size of the grill is the same size as the hole in the wall, ceiling or floor.  (It is not the outside dimension of a grill.)
  2. Measure the horizontal length of the hole in the wall first. ("A" in the diagram below).
  3. Then measure the vertical height of the hole in the wall ("B" in the diagram below).
Most manufacturers size their grills, registers and vent covers in two-inch increments with the first number representing length and the second number representing height.
For Example:
Length ("A" in the diagram above): 10", 12" or 14"
Height ("B" in the diagram above): 4", 6" or 8"
The grill size you order might be a little smaller than the size of the hole in your wall, ceiling or floor. This is normal, a loose fit in the wall allows room to properly level the grill.
To install your new grill, simply remove your old register. Clean the inside of the duct outlet and spray with flat black spray paint, or the color of your choice. Install the new grill with the screws provided.
